1. What is eligibility criteria for SUN Skills Business Partner? SUN Skills is looking for people who have an ambition to become edupreneurs. Apart from this, they have to fulfill the following criteria:

• o Hold a graduation degree
• o Have the ability to invest time, money and efforts in the venture.
• o Previous business experience is desirable. (not mandatory)

2. Are operations manuals supplied?

Yes operations manuals will be provided. They will include comprehensive information and instruction concerning every aspect of the business.

3. Is there an opportunity to set up more than one SUN center?

Yes.

4. What is the amount of financial investment needed to establish an SUN center?

The Minimum initial investment for the project varies from Rs. 10-18 lakhs. The investment is based on various factors such as the Center Location, Student Capacity etc.

5. How many partners can I have for my center?

We recommend not more than two since the investment is not very high. In case of a group of trainers partnering to start a SUN center, we recommend not more than three partners.

6. Does SUN Skills offer any financing arrangements?

Yes. We assist you in making your business plan and other technicalities required by banks. However the responsibility to arrange for finance lies with the applicant..

7. How long will it take to complete the business partner selection process?

Once the application is received from the potential applicant, it takes 3 weeks for the Business Partner selection process.

8. What happens after I submit my personal response form?

After we receive your application form, application review will be held, which might also include a telephone call with you. Candidates shortlisted will be invited for next level of discussions.

9. After how many years will my franchise license need to be renewed?

The initial validity for the license with SUN Skills is for three years. The license will be renewed after the end of third year calculated as 50% of the License fee prevailing at that point of time for every 3 years.

10. Can I conduct any other business from my premises?

Yes, as long as the business is discrete and non-conflicting with that of SUN Skills, subjected to the discretion of the franchisor.

11. What is the minimum manpower requirement to start an SUN center?

Please look into the franchise proposal. The manpower requirement may vary depending on the location and type of center.

12. What will be the process for recruiting manpower for my SUN center?

The Business partner has to recruit the manpower, though the final approval and training of faculty will be done by SUN Skills.

13. What is the process for selecting a site for the new center?

The Business Partner has to shortlist few possible site locations for establishing new center, taking the requirements into account. In the later stages, SUN team and Business partner together will single out the best location from all those suggested.

14. How do I recruit my students?

Through flyers, Yellow Pages, local newspapers, radio advertising, billboards, word of mouth, schools, Personnel Agencies, presentations in institutions and colleges, other corporations and general marketing.

15. What are the ongoing supports SUN Skills provides to its Business Partner for running the Center?

Please look into the Franchise Proposal Section “SUN support”. We provide ongoing support to Business Partner in the area of Marketing, Operations and Training delivery and Total Quality management systems through regular support visits by SUN Team.
